Fox Run at Orchard Park is celebrating a new installation titled “In Between,” photographs by local artist kc kratt, in their Community Art Gallery. According to kratt, “To visit Japan is to travel to a place where two realms—the mythic and the modern—coexist.  Its people flow between these worlds inhabiting the past and the present, unaware of any contradiction.  There is societal reverence for the past and intense appreciation of the present.  Japan is simultaneously contemplative and frenetic, refined and brash, respectful and challenging.  The images here attempt to capture the duality of contemporary Japan—grounded in tradition and rushing headlong into the now.”

“In Between” will be on display from April 1 until May 31 in The Community Art Gallery at Fox Run. The public is welcome to visit the gallery between 9:00am and 7:00pm, Monday through Sunday. Visitors are asked to enter through the Commons Building, sign in at the AccuShield Kiosk, and also stop at the reception desk.
