Monthly Caregiver’s Meeting

• Date / Time: Tuesday 10/25/22   1:00 pm -2:30 pm
• Where: Orchard Park Sr. Ctr. Rm 150 (4520 California Rd in Orchard Park)
• Facilitated by: Jenny Osburn, RN MSCN

WHO should attend? Anyone who:

• Is caring for/about someone who is dependent on you to meet needs
• Has been thrust into the caregiver role with little or no preparation
• Frequently feels frustration, anger, grief, guilt … in caregiver role
• Has many thoughts of worry about the changes caregiving brings
• Is second-guessing necessary care decisions
• Feels no one understands your feelings or current experiences

 THE CAREGIVER Meeting aims to:

• Encourage the caregiver in their role
• Provide a safe place to share/listen to others who understand
• Provide caregiver with valuable information and resources
• Strengthen the coping strategies & caregiver skills
• Assist caregiver in setting realistic expectations of themselves

 Refreshments are served during the break.   all invited / No reservation required
